Draft of 3 November 2026
This is a draft written for the beta. It hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer and will change before Hourbrook leaves beta. The operator's legal name, address and governing law still need to be added.
The beta
Hourbrook is in beta. It's free while the beta lasts, things will change, and some things will break. Keep your own backups of anything you can't lose; the app can back up its database and export everything as JSON.
Your account
Keep your sign-in email secure and tell us if someone else gets in. You're responsible for what happens in your account and for the people you invite to a team.
Your data
What you log is yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you and your team. How we handle it is in the privacy policy.
Fair use
Don't use Hourbrook to watch people who haven't agreed to it, to break the law, or to attack or overload the service.
Prices
The beta is free. The prices on the pricing page are early and may change; we'll email you at least a month before anything costs you money, and you can leave before it does.
Ending
You can stop using Hourbrook and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. If we ever shut the service down, we'll give notice and time to export.
No warranty
Hourbrook is provided as it is, without warranties. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or hours that weren't billed.
Other apps' names and marks
Names and marks of apps and services, such as GitHub, Linear or Figma, are trademarks of their owners. Hourbrook shows them only to say which app your time was spent in or which service something comes from; that doesn't mean their owners endorse Hourbrook. The marks are from Simple Icons, released under CC0.
